Which Asus broad - Asus Prime-A or Prime-P

Hi,

I am building a hackintosh again. I looked at the motherboard buying list and saw Asus Prime-A and Prime-P. Which is a better choice for the hackintosh, less problems to install? Also, I would like to have a usb c with board. Is there a OOB usb c/tb3 pci adapter that I can purchase?

Go with the ASUS Prime Z390-A.
It has USB-C on the IO and also has a Thunderbolt 3 internal connector (and RGB).
For the TB3 card I put the link in at the bottom, sometimes you don't need to plug it into the THB_C header on your MoBo, and just the PCIe (so try both).

thanks for the info. I would like to have multiple usb-c and tb3. Does the Gigabyte pci work OOB or do I need ktext file?

From what I know, it works without any kexts (besides VirtualSMC or FakeSMC and stuff like that). First try it with only plugging it in to the PCIe slot (unless it needs SATA or Molex power), and if that doesn't work, then try using the included cable with it.
