Here is my setup:
Mac OSX 10.14.1
Gigabyte Z270N-WIFI
Intel Core i7 7700k
32GB RAM 2400mhz (2 x 16)

I have a problem where I turn off the machine and it seems to turn off. Then the lights blink and the machine starts again.
I am running latest Clover boot. Is there anything I need to check to in Clover config. since I remember this was an issue. But I am only able to find "turns on and off suddenly" while my problem is the opposite "suddenly turns on".

Sorry for not providing any files now. Just wondered if there was something I could try quick-fix first :)

Do you have an external drive attached? This sees to happen more when that is the case. If so, disconnect it and see if that changes anything.

I had to do the following (on a z370 motherboard),

in the motherboard bios,
BIOS -> wake on LAN -> disable
power -> ErP -> enable

in clover configurator
ACPI -> fixes -> check the box for FixShutdown_00004

Thanks guys! The solution was simple since I had a problem upgrading from High Sierra to Mojave and had stripped down my config.plist. Saw now that FixShutdown was not checked. So that solved it!
