Just update the whatevergreen kext to 1.4.7 to my Big Sur with RX570 graphic card.
It causes a black screen. I need to use a USB boot loader to rectify it. Using back the 1.4.6 version is fine.

Same here. We must wait for a more developed version.

My RX 570 was booting to black screen during the picker process
and would return to normal operation towards the end of Apple's
progress bar when the only monitor was on HDMI. If I plugged a
second monitor into DVI, or plugged my single HDMI monitor into
a Dataport to HDMI adapter, I didn't see the black screen phenomenon.
I never figured out what was making it happen or settings to make it go
away, but I would only see it when booting from SSD, and never on
my USB stick. I'm using WEG 1.4.7 debug problem-free, but I left
my monitor on the dataport-to-hdmi adapter.

On my old P55-USB3 motherboard, the RX 580 dGPU only worked fine from DisplayPort ports, from HDMI it gave a black screen shortly after starting the progress bar (when loading the graphics driver).
What is rare that it only does it when you boot from macOS on SSD and not from Install USB but boot options are very different, macOS boots the entire system and from USB it starts the installation program, some difference produces that you only have this behavior from USB. I don't know why.

I have this problem too, see the release notes for 1.4.6

replace igfxcflbklt=1 boot argument for -igfxblr (if you have)

replace enable-cfl-backlight-fix for enable-backlight-registers-fix (if you have)

don't forget for the - in -igfxblr

After updating Security Update 2021-001 Mojeve and OS11.2 using the release version of OpenCore 0.6.6 & kext, when I restarted, the prompt was displayed and I could not restart.
This did not occur on Catalina with the release version of OpenCore 0.6.5 & kext.

Booting from USB, he booted from SSD after doing NVRAM Rest and it was able to boot normally.
