What monitor?

Ok looking for advice, have built a z77ud5/3570k/16g ram and all is working perfect, recently added a gtx 650 ti boost 2g video card as couldnt get hd4000 acceleration to work. So now thats got me thinking my old 19" monitor at less than 1080p isnt cutting it so im wondering is it worth upgrading to 27" 2560 x 1440 or would 27" 1080p be ok? look forward to your thoughts.

There is a lot to choose from here. People posted their monitors and reasons why they like them/functionality.

A 27" at 1440p would be great, anything over 24" for 1080p looks way too pixelated (in my opinion). There are cheap korean 1440p 27 inchers, as well as the more expensive Apple and Dell Monitors.
