LG34UM65ASUS ProArt248Q
I bought both a year ago one LG 34inch widescreen monitor: LG 34UM65 (650CHF),
1st. buy (500?CHF***) was the Asus ProArt248Q
wich I recommend, one of the cheapest (260$! now)
precalibrated monitors both are used for PS-foto-image and/or mainly BLENDER rendering.
Took me a while of research to find cheap and reliable monitors for my work as an artist with a poor income.
For less than one Mc Cimema Display I bought these two beauties!
(I run them with Mavericks/Multibeast over a year now very stable system apart from little sleep issues once in a while...)
My third monitor for my second system is LG 29U55 little brother of the 34inch widescreen.(500CHF).
(Yosemite/clover via usb-boot-stick recently)
I use my old Samsung Flatscreen TV 74" s.t. and for my mini-mac I have an acer monitor 24"
***THE ASUS did come WITH A
CALIBRATION TOOL CALLED SPYDER4 EXPRESS! From datacolor so it is possible to re-calibrate the monitor! SPYDER1-4 models range from professional:4 to amateurs1., and price.
Plus a HOOD that shades the monitor fixed with special tape.
