What kind of Mac should I have

Hi Guys,

I have build my first Hackintosh... all is working pretty well. No issue so far.
Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H and Intel Haswell Core i7-4770K / 3.50 GHz

but my config is seen as an iMac summer 2001
or MacPro3,1.... is that the normal behavior or should I do something ?
One other question about for OS update, Mavericks is now released, is there a way to update using standard Apple update. because when trying this option I get the error saying that my machine is not compatible.

Help will be very much appreciated ...

Changing "About This Mac" System specs is not important if everything works well. For Mavericks
you must download from the App Store and then use Unibeast 3.0 to make an installer USB drive.
