Hi,
I got a Lenovo K29 with 500GB HDD and it's running High Sierra. And I'm planning to buy a SSD.
Since this laptop got SATA + mSATA ports, so I want to make a Fusion Drive.

Because Intel SRT limit the SSD to 64GB, so I'm wondering if Apple's Fusion Drive has similar limitation.
Official FusionDrive Macs, have SSD up to 128GB, and HDD beginning from 1TB.
From online posts, I saw someone got Fusion Drive working with 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD.
But I never saw anyone saying they can or cannot get FusionDrive working with 500GB HDD.

If Fusion Drive works with 500GB HDD, I will buy a 256GB mSATA SSD. Otherwise, I will buy a 512GB SATA SSD.
Anyone got any advice?
Thanks.

Avoid Fusion. Purchase an SSD that is large enough for your needs.
I'm wondering why.
I got two ports on my laptop, and I would like to have single partition on my Hacintosh if possible.
Thanks.
