What are the System Definitions in MultiBeast?

Hi,
I am doing the postinstalation with MultiBeast. I have seen one section called "System Definitions".
What are the System Definitions for? Do I really need to install any of them?
I own a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, and ATI 6870, and i7 2600k.

VERY simply, they tell the OS which type of hardware you have. If you are using a DSDT you do not need to select one. If not then you should select Mac Pro 3.1, it generally works the best and gives the best performance for a desktop sandy hack.
