Hey there!
I built a computer for the first time and turned it into a Hackintosh running Mavericks. Everything runs very nicely except for one small thing. When I have both of my monitors plugged in (one is HDMI and the other is VGA), OS X mirrors the same thing on both displays. In Settings, the Displays menu seems to only see one display. When I boot up the machine with just the HDMI monitor, everything's normal. When I boot it up with just the VGA one, however, everything is sort of stretched out and the resolution is wonky. (these are both 1920x1080 monitors, btw)
My motherboard is an ASUS Z87-Pro and my CPU is an Intel Core i5 4670k. I am using integrated graphics. (Intel HD 4600)
I'm pretty sure this is a Mac-specific problem, as I have dual monitors working without a hitch on the same machine when running Arch Linux.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
