Web Cam not working after install

Does anyone have any idea of how to get a Creative Live VF0415 web cam working on my system?

When I open Skype or ichat it just says its in use by another program.

Specs are in my signature.

Did you tried the macam drivers? Search for them on google.

macam hasn't been updated since 2008.
just either verify that your camera is uvc compatible or get another one that is. usb cams are cheap, i got an HP from amazon for $30ish shipped.
