waking up from sleep but no display

strange problem.

everything is working fine except waking up issue.

when the computer is waking up, there are no display.
so i have to shut it down and turn it again.

i'm using amd radeon hd7970

can someone give me an idea of how to fix the issue.

So, sharing my experience I solved this (apparently) turned off serial port on bios. I can wake form sleep normally

The same problem, have not yet found a solution. Dell M3800 laptop. (Intel hd graphics 4600 haswell). There are no serial port options in BIOS
