After my poor Dell Mini 10v bit the dust (10.6.7), I'm in need of a new laptop. I'm kinda sorta experienced when it comes to hackintoshing.
Very quick into about myself:
I've done five computers so far, two Dell Mini 10v (these worked perfectly), one Asus 1001PXB (everything was working except QE), my AMD custom build (it worked, sort of), and a Dell Inspiron 1545 (the most painful experience ever).
So I put it to the greatest hack-a-mac community ever formed, is now a good time to purchase a hackintosh laptop with Sandy Bridge or wait for Ivy Bridge?
