VRAM detection for Nvidia, 512MB instead of 1GB

Hello

I noticed that my card ( GT 420 ) only show 512MB instead of 1GB. Searching the various forums it seems a very common problem.

Is this something that is not to difficult to fix?

I've posted detailed info in the bug report at:

It contains a dump of the ioreg's that might contain info to figure out why the GT 420 card only shows 512 MB

There is a work around for this issue on GT 430 so it might be possible to implement it on the GT 420 too. I'll need device ID and subsystem IDs for the card.
