VPN settings disappearing

I built a mac as per my profile, it's been fine for over a year.

Then on a recent apple security update of ventura, the damned thing KEEPS loosing the VPN settings.

I seup the vpn for use and then after coming back , they have been erased...
mainly the "secret" & pw.
The actual config with the name is still there, just the other info is gone.

As i say it was fine for a year and now it is pissing me off.

any ideas?
