Using a GA-Z77MX-D3H TH board (F5 BIOS) I've got an annoying issue with the fan control. Unlike some of my other boards, I can't find a way to enable non-PWM fan control. I didn't realise this was going to be a problem.
Not a show-stopper for me at the moment (I'm using an NH-U9B cooler on the CPU (i5-3570K @ 4.3 GHz) with the fans turned down to 1300 rpm and it's decently-quiet and copes fine with the CPU at full load, but it would be nice to have the fans ramp down closer to 300 rpm at idle without having to replace the fans with PWM units.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
