vlan menu is grey

Hi,

I got two machines running (P35-DS4 and a P67A-UD3-B3) both OSX 10.6.7 vanilla.
On both machines I'm not able to setup vlan since the menu point is greyed out.
Someone got a hint for me?

As I found out with a Realtek Card it's not possible to use vlan (yet).
Neither the realtek driver supports vlan nor does the lnx2mac's version.
Though lnx2mac plans to implement this feature. I hope it will be soon since vlan is every day business for me.
