Video card performance

How do I check my video card performance?

I am able to set resolution to 1080p and the icons/windows are animated. However, I was watching something on Hulu last night (in firefox) and the video frame-rate seemed low. Has anyone else experienced this? On windows, the video was much nicer, although I was using their desktop app.

Is it anything I need to install or configure?

first check if CI/QE is enabled. two update flash player, if it is still stuttering after those two steps, you can try alternatively disabling flash's hardware acceleration clicking right button on the flash player window > Settings > Display: uncheck 'Enable hardware acceleration'
