Hi guys, I'm trying to run dual Dell 27" U2713HM displays at 2560x1440 resolution and have the following setup:

- Intel i5 2500k at 4.2ghz
- Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
- SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VX-2L Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5

Both monitors are hooked up via DVI. The first display runs fine at 2560x1440 resolution, but if I try to run the second display at full 2560x1440 resolution, the output looks green and fuzzy (see attachment). The second display runs fine at 1920x1080 resolution though.

Does this mean that my video card simply can't support dual displays at 2560x1440? Or is there anything else that's possibly going on? If I have to buy a better video card, what's the cheapest one that I can get that will solve this problem (I don't really game at all on my computer, so it doesn't have to be the best video card).

Thanks in advance!

I'm not running any graphics kexts, and I'm only using the correct DSDT for my motherboard/bios. Would changing any settings in my Chameleon boot file help out? It's current set to:

AtiConfig: Vervet
AtiPorts: 4

Thanks again.

Solved this issue -- the problem was that I bought the display refurbished from Dell, and they packaged it with a non dual-link DVI cable, so it was capped out at 1920x1080 resolution. Now I have to go out and buy a dual-link DVI cable and I should be all set.
