Yes, yes and double YES! In fact I just helped my friend build his hackintosh, and he went with an i7 for his and it's wicked fast. Honestly, kinda jealous since I went with an i5 for mine. LOL

What MOBO did he go with? I do a lot of video editing / 3d stuff and this is my fist build. I could really use some help. I know a lot about software and a little about the hardware end.

Still could use some advice on the mother board and the graphics card.

So far my order is this:

CASE COOL MASTER | HAF X RC-942-KKN1 RT

19-115-211 CPU INTEL|CORE I7 950 3.06G 45N R

I really want a great editing machine.

Also depending on my hardware do I need to install a custom version of Tony Mac?
