Using the G5 heatsink for the i5

I'm wondering if somebody has been able to adapt the G5 stock heatsink to a 1155 motherboard with an Intel i5? I searched everywhere and can't find any info. Just for the size I think it would make a great cooler, any comments or suggestions?
