-----

Intel Core i7-2600
NVidia GTX750 (EVGA)
16GB 1.333GHz DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD

Everything but sleep is working but one nasty little prob exists concerning the USB3.0 ports.

Any USB HDD attached to the port mounts just fine but then disconnects abruptly within about 10 seconds and the remounts, disconnects again, remounts, etc., etc.

USB sticks seem to be fine however. USB2.0 ports behave normally too.

Seems a power problem maybe, huh ?

Is there a config option or DSDT patch or something special that can be done for this ?

TIA,

bisk

GenericUSBXHCI.kext not recommended.

Use native AppleUSBXHCI.kext instead.

There is a config.plist for Clover that has the required patches at my DH67xx repo: https://github.com/RehabMan/Intel-DH67XX-DSDT-Patch

Thank you so very much for the rapid response !

I applied the recommended 5 config patches and now AppleUSBXHCI does mount USB3 HDDs. Before these patches, the kext simply loaded and then did nothing. However, the bad news is that my USB3 HDDs now do exactly the same thing that they did with GenericUSBXHCI. They rapidly mount, disconnect, mount, disconnect, on & on ...

Bummer :(

Sounds like a hardware problem.
