Usb wont boot :( please help,

ok so i already have windows on my computer but iv second 500gb hard drive i want to put os x Yosemite on,
i used this guide to do it;

its the same guide that on this website

but when i try booting from the usb, all i get is;

note: if i type when that screen comes up, nothing happens.

can anyone help? what am i doing wrong? anyone? :/

I'm not gonna read the guide you linked to to see if it is the same as the guide here. What guide HERE is it? What motherboard? What size USB stick? Apparently some sticks larger than 8GB have been known to have problems.

Make sure your parts are on this list:

and that way when you come in the forums they won't give you grief ...

also with any luck there may be a step or two that you missed the first time and may solve your issue.
