USB Wifi dongles?

Hii there,

I have here a laptop (HP 15-r127ng) wich I cannot turn on the Wifi (only on Windows ofcourse).
So I wanted to buy a Wifi dongle so I could atleast have Wifi. Bluetooth would be fine but don't think i'll use it often...

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.


There are USB WiFi devices mentioned in the Buyer's Guide. Look for devices with OS X drivers. The user interface for USB WiFi is poor and they tend to contribute to stability issues.

Best result is with supported PCIe card.

WiFi/Bluetooth: Depends on having compatible hardware. Use DPCIManager->PCI List to find out what you have. Compatible chipsets and the procedures for making them work are covered here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html
