usb freeze on GA-Z97x-UD5H, please help

Hi,

My build is:
GA-Z97x-UD5H motherboard
i-7 4790k
GTX 580
Corsair XMS3 1600 4x4 Go
SSD 840 EVO

OS X 10.9.5
Installed using Unibeast and Multibeast Mavericks

Everything work ok exept when I plug an external hard drive in a usb plug It freezes the system. Total freeze, I have to hard reset and reboot. Sometines it freeze right after I plug the disk, sometimes a moment later. It happens with usb2 and usb3 plugs. The keyboard (an apple usb keyboard) and the mousse (a logitec plugs into the keyboard) work fine, no freeze. It seems that the system freezes only with external hard drive, not with usb key or keyboard and mousse (I have no other usb device so I can't check).

I think I have installed the GenericUSBXHCI USB 3.0 driver with multibeast but I'm not 100% sure. I have the feeling that this kext is the source of the problem but I can't find the kext in my system. Where is it ? What is the path of this kext ?

What do you think about these freezes ? Is there a way to fix this ?

I'm having the same problem. I tried to use the kext found here but i still have some problems. but maybe try that?
