Usb 3 ports not working on mountain lion

Hi all, I have recently updated to mountain lion and now when i plug something into my usb 3 ports front panel or back panel usb 3 device or usb 2 device it wont show up. I know its not the ports because they work perfectly in windows 7. I installed the usb 3 kext from Multibeast and that didnt help. So any ideas?

I don't think the USB3 kext is working at the moment. In fact, it causes reboot issues on some Gigabyte boards. The new Multibeast is on the way so I would wait for that to show up and try reinstalling the kext then.

There are a lot of issues with usb3.0 on real macs at the moment too. just google it to see!

Ok good to know its not Just me. well I snagged A Usb 3 kext from DP3 and now its working great
