Usb 3 on GA-Z68XP-UD3

How do I know if I have USB 3.0 Working on my gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
I plugged my usb 3 thumb drive in on my usb 3 and then usb 2 ports and tried the copying over the same file and it wasnt any faster.

Have you anabled USB3 in your Bios and installed the USB3 driver?
