USB 3.0 PCIe Card Recommendation

I have system with no native USB 3.0 on motherboard (Gigabyte EP-43 series.) Running ML 10.8.1 I have installed 2 USB 3.0 cards with NEC chip on them and the Caltech driver. Superspeed Hub shows in system preferences, but ports on the cards do not work. I am looking for a recommendation for a PCIe add-in card that will work. I have already tried all of the kext changes I have found on the forum.

http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Express-SuperSpeed-Adapter-PEXUSB3S2/dp/B002XVVIQE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top is fairly inexpensive and has the NEC72020 chip, so it should work.
