I want to upgrade my memory on my system to something faster (and RGB). I'm wondering if I can just take out the old sticks and pop in the new ones and continue on as normal, or if I need to install more kexts or something.

My current memory: 32GB (2x 16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 MHz C15
What I want to upgrade to: 32GB (2x 16GB) G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600 MHz C16

Kexts I have installed:

VirtualSMC.kext
Lilu.kext
AppleALC.kext
USBMap.kext
WhateverGreen.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext
SMCProcessor.kext
SMCSuperIO.kext
CodecCommander.kext

Just take out the old RAM, install the new RAM, and continue on. I suggest to check the BIOS to see if you need to set XMP profiles for the new RAM.
