Upgrading MacPro 3,1 CPU (Dual-Quand 2.8 Xeon) Question!
Morning folks,
I am currently using my MacPr (Early 2008) that I bought when it came out, and I was wondering which deal on ebay is good or better to upgrade my current Dual-Quad 2.8Ghz Xeon processor:
Listing here
I do not know what is the difference really between SLBBK and SLANZ and what does that imply.
I got the information about the processor here on XLR8yourmac.com also another reader that did one not too long ago here.
And according to those specification - just to make sure before i do the jump - that they have 4 core PER processor which implies with 2 it will make sense to have 8 as my machine already has 8. Just checking to make sure i get the right thing out of ebay.
Current Config:
MacPro 3,1 Dual-Quad Intel Xeon 2.8Ghz
8GB RAM
OS X 10.9.2
