Hi guys
I've been running my Hackintosh successfully for about a year now, here are the specs:
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H ATX
EVGA GeForce GTX570 HD 2560MB GDDR5 SLI Ready Graphics Card
Intel Core i7 3770K Processor 3.5 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler
Crucial 256 GB M4 2.5-Inch SSD SATA 6Gb/s
Western Digital Caviar Green 2 TB Desktop Hard Drive
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600
Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 Series 750-Watt 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply
Syba Low Profile PCI-Express Card TI Chipset
Running Mountain Lion 10.8.3
Now I want to upgrade my video card to a EVGA GTX 680, and I just want to know if it's as simple as changing out the cards, booting it up to Multibeast and installing the driver for the 6xx cards? Or do I need to uninstall the old drivers. What are the steps, if anyone can help?
Thanks so much
Will
