Have been running El Capitan perfectly for the last year. Decided to upgrade. Everything works except it doesn't show any audio devices... Had this problem when I first set up the machine but I did fix it after a few hours. Think it was something called codeccommander that fixed it initially, but I could just be out to lunch. It was a while ago.
Now its been days, and I have tried all I can do and read all of the articles... I really don't want to resort to buying a USB to AUX converter...

ALC 1150.

Tried removing all my old kext (think I got them all..?)
Extracted AppleHDA from the installer via Pacifist
Put them in the 'Other' folder inside the mounted EFI.
Ticked 1150 in Multibeast 9
Made sure the config file was all good?
tried to follow this thread
https://www.******.com/r/hackintosh/comments/4sil5p/audio_mechanic_old_patchfix_removal_applealc/
and this one

What do i do now? Really don't want to do a fresh install but at this point, would that even help me?
I am grateful for any help I can get.

Fixed it! Only took a few days of trying everything.

Followed this video. I had everything I needed to get it fixed, and I was close to figuring it out myself...
What I did was just run Multibeast, select my audio(1150), install, then ran the audio_cloverALC-120.command and hit yes to everything, reboot, drink beer!
