Upgrade wifi in order to enjoy new features, Continuity & Handoff

I intend to upgrade my Desktop and 4540s to enjoy the features, Continuity and Handoff.

I have seen that ReHabMan is using BCM94352HMB.

But I want to understand how will this fit in my Desktop?

Is there other adapters required?

Is this card a great choice?

As long as your laptop doesn't have a WiFi whitelist. The 4540s does not have a whitelist.
