Updating

Hey everyone,
I'm contemplating making the update from 10.8.5 to 1.9.2 on my laptop but I heard when 10.9 came out that not all kext will work.
has that been fixed?

For my specific situation it seems it was easier that mountain lion and lion and snow leopard but you know it's always an experiment and you never really know til you try but I'm sure you got a good idea of what was needed to get it going on mountain lion so you prolly need some of the same settings and I'd back up kexts like my audio and Ethernet just so you'll have them if you need to roll back as a last resort
