Desktop: Gigabyte Z170X UD5 TH | i7 8700K | AMD Radeon HD 7970 3 GB

I did upgrade from (Mojave 10.14.6 to Catalina 10.15.4) I upgrade to resolve the WiFi issue on my previous installation. Long short story, however, even after everything still has no working WiFi!

What wifi card have you got installed, if it didn't work in one os x version what makes you think it would in another. In order to enable wifi/bt, the card must be OS X compatible, do a search for compatible os x cards that works oob. The pic you posted offers no info about any sort of connection problem, post another pic like my example no need to use off site tools to do so just screen grab the 'System Report/Network'. Good luck.
