Updating from 10.15.4 to 10.15.7

I am planning to update my hackintosh from 10.15.4 to 10.15.7. Would it be safe to do it directly from the system preference or would I need to take certain steps first before updating it to 10.15.7? I tend to be very cautious in updating hackintosh as I don't have a lot of wiggle time to fix issues if they come up now. Thanks!

You should be able to update to 10.15.7 from System Preferences or by downloading the MacOS 10.15.7 Combo Update from Apple and running it from Catalina.
