Updated Z370 Aorus gaming to i9 9900 processor and now boot gets stuck 100% progress bar

Hi,
has anyone succeeded yet at updating their processor to an i9 9900 on a Z370 mobo?
I had to update the BIOS for the mobo to recognise the processor and now High Sierra is only booting very slowly to the end of the progress bar and there it gets stuck. Any idea for a solution?

The BIOS update may be the cause of your boot problems.

This is an ACPI Patch for the people who update to the last bios and can't boot. My board is the MSI B360A-Pro and has the latest bios 7B22v27. First add the patch (the blue line from the picture) to clover config, then apply the Bios update. To easily add the patch using terminal, read post #48

Thank you, I will give that a go next weekend. Do you think I have to revert to the previous BIOS I had which didn't support i9, change the processor back, make changes in Clover, update BIOS again and change the processor to the i9 again?
