[SOLVED] Update to el capitan, possible to keep my windows 8 separate drive ?

Hi :)

I have a nice running yosemite, I'll erase and install el capitan with the new tools / clover folowing the guide here.

The thing is I also have a separate hard drive with windows 8 on it, and at the moment when I boot I have the choice in the chameleon bootloader, to select yosemite or windows.

I plan to unplug every other drives to install el capitan, and then replug my windows drive. Will I have to do something to keep having the choice and just boot on windows like it is now ?
I also plan to reformat my windows drive and install windows 10 but not right now.

i just want to check if it's still possible.

thanks !

I think my windows was installed in UEFI Mode, I installed it after installing Yosemite.

Anyway I was a bit in a hurry to update, so I did it, clean install of El Capitan went just fine, and then I replugged my windows drive...and it shows up ! I'm able to boot on it via clover's boot screen, all perfect :mrgreen::mrgreen:

thanks a lot anyway !
