Update Intel NUC8i3beh i3 8th gen from Big Sur to Sonoma directly?

Hi all

I'm running BigSur 11.7.10 on an Intel NUC8i3beh (Coffe Lake) with OpenCore 0.8.7

How should I upgrade, if I can, to Sonoma?
Upgrade OpenCore and then upgrade from within BigSur to Sonoma via Software Update?
