Congrats! The only caution that I have is when replacing these Aptio memory fixes, I think they embed itself in the BIOS. When I tried to switch to OCQuirks, I still had AptiosMemoryFix in there, and there was a conflict at POST. I cleared the CMOS, and all was good.
So I would follow the steps I outlined above, if you want to switch. That would be clear the change the drivers, 1) reset the CMOS, 2) unlock the MSR, then 3) configure your BIOS and save it as a profile.
