unlock iWatch only padlock on Catalina

On Mojave unlocking with the iWatch is working fine, after sleep unlocking works like expected.

On Catalina it will only let me unlock the padlocks (two presses on the iWatch) and unlock my hacintosh after the screensaver was on.
After wake from sleep it won't work, there is the message that unlocking with the iWatch is in progress but then I have to enter my password.
This was the case for every version of Catalina so far, I tried a fresh install, update from Mojave,.. always the same result.
The same EFI and config file is used, Mojave says ok, Catalina says no

Any suggestions?

Thanks, my search didn't reveal that thread.
In any case that is the thread to continue this.
They have the same issues there.

Maybe someone can remove this thread?
