Sorry I looked through the other posts and can't figure out why it isn't working. I am trying to create my USB stick on my hackintosh running 10.6.8.
I keep getting an error that the install encountered an error that caused the installation to fail...contact software manufacturer for assistance.
The USB Drive is a 16GB drive formated according to instructions, and the only option I choose is the App Store for 10.6.8.
Mountain Lion is in the Applications folder, none of the volumes are case-sensitive...what am I doing wrong?
Do I have to do this on an actual MAC?
Please help ASAP.
