Hello,

I have literally just finished building my new Hackintosh. I am following the directions here (http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/ ... using.html) word for word and after I change the settings on my motherboard and go to boot from the USB everything works fine.
I get the image of the Unibeast at the top with the Apple symbol with USB below it. I hit enter to boot, the grey Apple screen loads, the I get this error message (http://www.flickr.com/photos/martintlaw ... 843877143/).photo.JPG
I have tried switching USB ports. The only items I have plugged in are 4 gigs of RAM, one SSD, my keyboard, and the HDMI cable to my monitor. I am using the HDMI port on the motherboard (my graphics card is not plugged in).
I have no idea what to do from this point. Any suggestions?

Thank you!!!!

Shut it down

flash drive on mine would only work when plugged into the rear red usb ports (on mobo) and not the blue 3.0 ports.

install your video card

plug your monitor into vid card (and only one. I have two and it wouldn't load until i unplugged one)

boot up and go into bios

under advanced bios features/ init display first= pci

Triple check all bios settings.

save bios and exit.

Try your install now and see how it does.

I found the culprit.

PCIRootUID=0

That needed to be typed in before I tried to boot from the USB. After that, everything ran smoothly.

I over looked this on the tutorial page because I have an ATI Radeon 6870 and it says an AMD Radeon 6670.

It was a stupid mistake that caused me A LOT of headaches!

Hope my mistake helps others in the future.
