Hi, I was having a difficult time installing Mountain Lion using a USB drive created with Unibeast 1.5.3 The computer would hang on reboot from the USB drive at the apple screen. I tried 3 different USB drives that I have, all sandisk cruzer 8gb drives. (a 3 pack I bought at Costco) I finally used another USB drive made by PNY and it worked fine. My motherboard is a GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 (rev. 1.3).

Just wondering if anyone else noted problems with sandisk cruzer drivers.

I have this problem too.... don't know why, it seem unibeast dosn't install anything on the drive...

Maybe you all had the bad luck of getting a defective drive??? I used an sandisk cruzer switch 8GB for my install and it worked perfectly.

on the back, below 8gb there's SDCZ52-008G. If that's the model number, perhaps you should verify if it's the same...

sandisk usb flash drives usually have a hidden partition need to remove it first via disk utility in osx.stick in flash drive open finder open applications disk utility click usb drive highlighted select erase next to first aid hit erase next to security options when done select partition select 1 partition click options click master boot record click on name use what u want format mac os extended journaled click apply now u r done. if still having issues use ubuntu 12.04 lts live dvd and use disk utility it will remove hidden partitions as well
