Hi All,
Just made a USB according to the guide here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibea...-any-supported-intel-based-pc/comments11.html
used a 10.8 installer purchased from App Store

System Specs:
ASUS P8z77 I-Deluxe
GTX680
3770K cpu
Im using the DVI-D output from the card, and all looks good there

it loads the bootloader fine and then hangs when booting the installer.
I've tried PCIRootUID=0
Ive tried -x

Here is a screenshot from a -v loading (using the PCIRootUID=0 flag)

any help is highly appreciated!

OK, I managed to get it to work.

I did have AHCI mode on in the bios, but I also made sure to hit F5 for 'optimized settings' but looking around, I honestly didnt see anything that changed.

then I booted with this:

Code:
PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v

and

I moved the USB stick to a standard USB2 port on the motherboard. I was using the green BIOS update USB port. Not sure if that really had anything to do with it, but Im posting my success here in case anyone else with these components gets stuck.
