Almost got my hack done, got to the final step of preparing a usb, burning unibeast and rebooting, but the install program fails to complete, coming up with a message of an unknown error.

Below is the install log

Appreciate any help to finalise this install to mavericks.

Got one step further, had to download an app to allow apple apps to install. So got the junibeats onto USB. Next problem is that I can't select a USB as the boot device on the ASUS MOBO, it doesn't see it as a boot device.

Can i Burn to disc and try that?

No, UniBeast is USB only.

9. UniBeast is a signed installer. Make sure "System Preferences - > Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow applications downloaded from" is checked for "Mac App Store and identified developers" or "Anywhere".

there is no allow option.
