I am getting the classic circle w/slash.

My intel gnu is disabled and not set to boot or be recognized. My default gpu is a 770GTX. I do not have inject Nvidia checked.

Other than verbose to check things out, what can I do? thanks!

EDIT: I get ' Service only ran for 0 seconds '.....should I just pull out my 770 for the install and re-install it later?

  • In Unibeast High Sierra USB installer:
    • config.plist>Devices > USB

      • [√] Inject
      • [√]FixOwnership
  • In BIOS :
    • Turn on USB Ports through
      Advanced > USB Configuration >
      • XHCI Hand-off > Enabled
      • EHCI-handoff -Enabled
  • In the Computer Chassis, try using the rear USB 2.0 ports for your USB 2.0 Installer Flash Disks.
  • Finally consider the Flash disks may be defective.

I check out the plist configs. UEFI / BIOS settings I double checked. I'll also try out different ports too. Do you think I need Nvidia fixup kext and Lilu as well?
The information provided i.e. "Prohibited Sign"

means generally no transfer of files because root device is missing. during installation, it means USB Installer device is not transferring files. Possible causes and areas to look are listed in my previous post.

If you suspect Graphics related, please upload the screen shot in verbose mode to have a look. My suggestion for now is to make sure your USB installer is working OK. Do you have a good LED light for your USB installer? Was it flashing when the above screen occurred.[I doubt]

If it is Graphics related, you can use your Integrated Intel Graphics HD 4600 . I don't have any real evidence from your post for that though.
