Unibeast 3.0.1 installation failed with Mavericks

Hi,
I've gone through the unibeast troubleshooting notes and I can't seem to figure out what I've done wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

UniBeast has detected that your purchased copy "Install OS X Mavericks.app" is damaged as it cannot mount the InstallESD.dmg. You need to download it again from the Mac App Store.

Ok, I re-downloaded Mavericks but the installation still failed.. this time right away rather than after a few minutes.

The purchased copy of "Install OS X Mavericks.app" is still damaged as UniBeast cannot mount the InstallESD.dmg.

Try downloading it again from the Mac App Store using a different connection.

Ok, tried a different connection, but still failed.
Could it be something other than a problem with the copy of Mavericks?

Do you have a different USB drive to try ?
You did format it MBR didn't you ?
Did you miss something in your preparation ?
I would start again completely from the beginning.
