Hi,
I want to try to update my Working El capitan to macOS Sierra.
I read that first i need to update clover, but i got stuck at this very first stage.

These are the steps i followed :
- run clover configurator
- mount my EFI partition
- click on install/update clover
- click on check now
- i have old version : 3423 new version:3763
- click on update
- once finished downloading the setup start, i do not change anything, and finish installation
- when i reboot i see that version has been updated, but when i click on boot EL Captitan, the screen remain black
- i tried also to press space e choose verbose mode, but i see only a row of +++++ and then nothing else

any suggestion ?

This is what i seen in check partition :

Same here. Have you tried any earlier Clover version?

Ok, I solved this 'stuck at a row of +++++++' problem by adding OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi into \EFI\CLOVER\drivers64UEFI folder, which is absent in r3763. Clover started booting but automatically restarted half way of progress bar. Then I degraded Clover to r3726 and successfully booted into 10.11.6. Ran 10.12 AppStore installer. Clover boot manager shows Installer option after restarting. Now installing macOS Sierra...we will see the result...Stay tuned.

TKS....
You solved my problems.
3763 has this drivers, but update process do not automatically select it.
You must manually select it. Doing it i upgraded to that version and boot is working.

Tks again

You are welcome!

I use the OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi from r3320. Looks like it works with r3726 but not with r3763.

Now I'm in macOS Sierra!:) At least we know r3726 works!

Hi,
you don't need to install other versions... when you run the upgrade, you need to select it !!!
This is how i manage to update clover (see attached screenshot)
