...and then stuck on AppleIntel8254xEthernet: Ethernet address ....<something assigned here>
Tried to make an old PC ready for OS-X, but that's what I am stuck at.
Tried all I could imagine during install
-v
-x
-s
chmod -n -r/volumes
PCIRoot=1 (or 0)
GraphicsEnabler=yes (or no)
PmVersion=0 (or 21 or 22)
arch=i386
Tried single commands as well as combinations.
Turned down everything in bios except for the essentials.
Any further advice on this error? No kernel panic, just a complete stop of operation.
Please do not ask about more specific HD specs, this seems to be a general prob of older mobos with Qxxxx CPUs so there should be - hopefully - a general solution to the prob?!
