Hello Guys, maybe someone had the same trouble I am having right now and can give me a hand..
I built two systems in the past (dual core and I5 processors with gigabyte motherboards) and both are still running great (Lion 10.7.3), with no problems. Now I am using the same motherboard that I used in one of them Gigabyte G41M-ES2L, I am using a retail version of Snow leopard 10.6.3, and it installed OK, boots up by itself with multibeast, but, when I try to install any of the combo updates (10.6.4 to 10.6.8) it gives me an error "There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again.
The Installation Failed.
An unknown installation error occurred". It does it with any of the combos, I have tried copying the file to the hard drive, different size of hard drives, memory, and no luck.
Any suggestion or help is appreciated.
